Villa Group (VILLA) as a corporate syndicate began with the establishment of Villa Shipping and Trading Company (VSTC) in 1986. It was set up primarily for trading activities. VG is arguably the most progressive and well diversified groups in Maldives.

Villa Food & Beverages ( VILLAFNB.COM ) was formed as an additional department of Villa Group. This was an initiative taken by Chairman Mr. Qasim Ibrahim, in order to facilitate the increasing demands arising due to the fast paced expansion of Villa Group and also to allow the, what was then known as the FNB department to compete in the open market.
Villa Food & beverages is the segment of VILLA which provides high-quality, full service distribution of dry & canned foods, dairy products, meats and vegetable (frozen & fresh) to resorts, supermarkets and any party who wishes to seek such services.
Distinguishing characteristics are the combination of management experience borrowed from a successful operation of resorts, sales and distribution experience acquired from International Suppliers, and exceptional customer service all around.
Currently Villa deals with and has contractual agreements to represent the following companies in the Maldives.
